Advantage Spot-On It is an effective antiparasitic useful for the prevention and treatment of fleas in cats. The product contains imidacloprid, which is the active ingredient.
Excipients: butylated hydroxytoluene, benzyl alcohol.
How does it work?
Advantage Spot-On guarantees an effective insecticidal action, which materialises in a relatively short time, thanks to the action of the active ingredient. Imidacloprid, in fact, is an effective systemic insecticide because it is an irreversible inhibitor of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor.
The preparation guarantees an effective flea prevention action for 3-4 weeks as well as protecting the cat in case of an ongoing infestation.
How to use
1 tube is pre-dosed for a single treatment of cats depending on the animal's weight. Pierce the tube seal using the inverted cap, then spread the cat's fur on the neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible and squeeze the contents of the pipette so that it comes into direct contact with the skin. Do not apply Spot-On Advantage on damaged skin. The preparation is rapidly distributed over the entire skin surface of the animal.
Warnings
Do not use on cats weighing less than 4 kg. Avoid Advantage Spot-On comes into contact with the eyes, mucous membranes or mouth of both the animal and the user. Otherwise, rinse the affected area thoroughly with water and contact your doctor exposing the product. Do not exceed the recommended doses. Rinse your hands thoroughly after each application. It is advisable not to eat, drink or smoke during the application of the preparation. Do not use on unweaned kittens under 8 years of age. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
